Here are the steps you need to follow to insert a video in Google Docs:
Open Google Slides and create a new slide.
Click on “Insert” at the top of the page and then select “Video” from the drop-down menu.
A new window will pop up. You can either search for the desired video or paste the URL of the youtube video you want to insert.
After you have found the video, click on the video and then press “Select”. The video will be inserted into your slide.
Press on the video and then “CTRL+C” to copy it.
Now open your Google Doc and place your cursor where you want to insert the video.
Go to Insert > Drawing > New.
In the drawing window, press “CTRL+V” to paste the video.
You can resize the video by dragging the blue squares on the edge of the video.
When you are done, click on “Save & Close“.
Now you will see the video in your Google Doc. Double click on the video to open the Drawing dashboard and play the video. Keep in mind that you need to be connected to the internet
